Antwerp & Brussels

Brussels is not immediately known as a hotspot in Europe, even though it secretly is. That you can eat pounds of waffles and chocolate with it we all know, but there are more attractions in the Belgian capital.

Once in Brussels, visit the intriguing Atomium, the symbol of the city created as part of the 1958 World’s Fair. Since Brussels is the unofficial capital of Europe, a visit to the government buildings of the EU should not be missed.

For museum lovers, we have the Royal Museums of Fine Arts of Belgium. These four museums are world-renowned for their collection of more than 20,000 pieces, including many of the finest Flemish works of art.
The extensive tour also stops at the “Tomb of the Unknown Soldier,” a monument in Brussels where the remains of an unknown soldier were buried on November 11, 1922. The monument is located at the foot of the Congress Column, which commemorates the National Congress of 1830 (which ratified the Belgian Constitution).
You’ll also visit the magnificent Royal Palace of Brussels, take a look at the ancient craft of lace-making and laugh at the Belgian humor of Manneken Pis. Then it’s time to enjoy the diverse and special city on your own.
